Charlotte Hechler is a Mental Health Professional in the community-based crisis stabilization program at Sparlin Mental Health. Through her work in this program, Charlotte teaches individuals and families the skills that can help prevent out-of-home placement.
Charlotte is a former public school teacher, tutor and mentor. After obtaining an undergraduate degree in Cultural Anthropology, Charlotte relocated to St. Louis to pursue a career in the mental health field. During the course of her studies, Charlotte completed a practicum as a social work intern with a St. Louis-area school district. Charlotte believes mental health impacts all aspects of a person’s ability to lead an enjoyable life.
Charlotte is a native of Seattle and has also lived in Iowa and Texas. Her hobbies include watching movies, drawing and trying new cuisines. To maintain wellness in her own life, Charlotte reads and practices mindfulness. Charlotte and her fiancé have one dog named Eloise, who they call Weezie.
