Elyse Vesser is a Mental Health Professional in the community-based crisis stabilization program at Sparlin Mental Health. Through her work in this program, Elyse teaches individuals and families the skills that can help prevent out-of-home placement.
Elyse has unique experience working with adolescent girls, and survivors of commercial sex exploitation and sexual trauma. Through a trauma-informed approach to treatment, Elyse finds value in helping her clients see their own individual strengths. Prior to joining Sparlin, Elyse completed internships at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Magdalene St. Louis.
Elyse is a native St. Louisan. When she is not at Sparlin, Elyse enjoys rock climbing, traveling, and hiking with her dog, Shiloh. In addition to limiting screen time, Elyse practices mental wellness with yoga, morning and nighttime routines, and deep breathing.
