Dr. Kelly Gable provides professional training in Motivational Interviewing (MI) at Sparlin Mental Health. Currently, she also serves as a Psychiatric Care Provider at a local federally qualified health center, and is a Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the SIUE School of Pharmacy.
Kelly is passionate about mental wellness and destigmatizing mental health treatment. Prior to moving to the St. Louis area in 2007, Kelly worked at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy and within the state’s psychiatric hospital system. From 2007 to 2016, she served as a Psychiatric Care Provider at Community Alternatives and Places for People.
Kelly is involved in several local nonprofit organizations, including: Family Care Health Centers, Places for People, the Missouri State Opioid Response (SOR) Project, Alive and Well, and the Peter and Paul Homeless Shelter.
In her personal time, Kelly enjoys music and live shows, traveling, listening to podcasts, and spending time with family and friends. Kelly grew up in central Illinois, and returned to the Midwest with her husband and two children to be closer to family.
