Marah Walker is pursuing a Master of Social Work at the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis with an anticipated graduation in May 2021. As a practicum student, Marah provides individual therapy to children, adolescents, and adults, and co-facilitates a weekly DBT Skills Group under the supervision of a licensed clinician.
For one year after completing her undergraduate education, Marah served with AmeriCorps at a mentorship program in Saint Paul, Minnesota, where she realized her passion for mental health and support services. Prior to joining the team at Sparlin, Marah also completed a practicum at Saint Louis Counseling in their School Partnership Program which took place at several schools in Jefferson County.
Marah is from Buffalo, Minnesota, and relocated to the St. Louis area for graduate school. Outside of her studies, Marah enjoys reading, listening to podcasts and catching up with family and friends.
