Molly Rush is a Mental Health Professional in the community-based crisis stabilization program at Sparlin Mental Health. In this role, Molly teaches individual and families the skills that can help prevent out-of-home placement.
Prior to joining Sparlin, Molly completed her first practicum with the Wyman Center Teen Outreach Program in the Ferguson-Florissant School District where she had the opportunity to facilitate social-emotional learning groups in two sixth grade centers. Molly gained the experience of providing individual psychodynamic therapy to adults during another practicum with the Schiele Clinic of the St. Louis Psychoanalytic Institute. At Sparlin, Molly appreciates the organization’s focus on supporting both the families served and the Sparlin team members.
Molly’s hobbies include watching Marvel movies or Gilmore Girls and reading sci-fi novels with strong female or non-binary characters. After moving from Kentucky to St. Louis for her graduate degree, one of Molly’s favorite things to do is walk the St. Louis parks with her partner and their dogs Kilo and Curry.
