Monica Fieck is a Mental Health Professional in the community-based crisis stabilization program at Sparlin Mental Health. In this role, Monica teaches individual and families the skills that can help prevent out-of-home placement.
After hearing a survivor of domestic and sexual violence speak on her college campus, Monica developed a passion for supporting survivors of interpersonal violence and decided to pursue a master’s degree in social work. Monica completed her clinical practicum at a local trauma therapy center where she was able to work directly with people seeking mental health services. For Monica, one of the most rewarding things about her role is the ability to help youth become the healthiest version of themselves.
When Monica moved from Wisconsin to St. Louis for graduate school, she fell in love with the city and decided to stay for a while. Outside of her career at Sparlin, Monica enjoys reading, running, listening to podcasts and visiting cat cafes.
